Hospital for Cats opened March 9, 1998. The building
was designed specifically to be a feline hospital
and won the annual design competition in 2000 from
Veterinary Economics magazine. A feature article
appeared in the January 2001 issue. The American
Animal Hospital Association accredited the hospital
as a 4 year feline specialty establishment in 2002.
Dedicated to “Compassionate
Health Care Exclusively for Cats”, the hospital
employs highly skilled licensed nurses, an efficient
and experienced office staff and accomplished
assistants. The doctors are committed to feline
medicine and focus ample continuing education
hours on the special skills required for feline
practice. The instruments and equipment are all
selected with only cats in mind. Their size and
special medical requirements are the sole consideration.
In addition to
full service medicine and surgery, the hospital
offers a serene and spotless boarding facility
featuring views of an outside garden and pond.
Each room has a sleeping ledge and a panoramic
view. The enclosures are built with materials
that do not reflect sound and can be completely
sanitized.
